The industrial sector of the city of Nur-Sultan city is most represented by manufacturing enterprises, they account for 84%. The share of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning - 14.4%. The share of products (goods, services) of water supply, sewage system, control over the collection and distribution of waste accounted for 1.6%.

In the manufacturing industry, products (goods, services) were produced in the amount of 180.9 billion tenge, ifo amounted to 108.4%. The metallurgical industry is one of the promising industrial sectors, its share is 40.2%. The industry is represented mainly by the enterprise for the extraction of precious metals of Tauken Altyn LLP, which in 2018 produced 25 tons of gold.
